My good friend @danielamade_ knows that I love delicious food. She told me that @deburentapascafe has very tasty tapas. And she was right!

At this restaurant you can enjoy unlimited tapas for a fixed price (drinks and desserts excluded). I literally ordered the same dishes over and over again, because I liked it so much! If you go there, I would recommend the salmon and the beef tataki. But the other dishes were delicious as well.

De Buren might not be the most glamorous Insta hotspot you’ve ever seen and I don’t think that’s the aesthetic they’re going for. It’s a cozy bar and the interior is still nice tho. But the food was just everything I’m looking for when eating tapas. 😍

You’ll find De Buren at Leienplein 1 in Apeldoorn.

Valentine’s Day is around the corner and this hidden gem in Tiel is perfect for a romantic Italian dinner ❤️

At @olijf.tiel you can get delicious pasta and pizza, made with passion. The pizza is made in an authentic wood oven and you can definitely taste that. The pasta is very good as well. 🍝

This restaurant is very cozy and romantic if you ask me. Italian quotes are written on the wall, they made lamps out of colanders (see the video) and the wood oven is a vibe on itself.

If you plan on visiting Olijf., make sure you make a reservation. It can be crowded sometimes. Olijf. is located at Korenbeursplein 4 in Tiel and is open from Wednesday to Sunday. Enjoy!

It is Christmas market season again! And me and my friends decided to drive to Düsseldorf in Germany. The market is spread across the Düsseldorf city centre and you can combine it with a nice shopping spree if you want to. (There's a Sephora store located in Düsseldorf 😏). But the market itself is big enough to have a good time.

The Christmas market is very traditional in my opinion. You can buy things like glühwein, bratwurst, Christmas tree ornaments, crêpes and so much more. A Ferris wheel and skating rink can also be found there. You can visit the market until December 30. Enjoy!

Only 1,5 week left to visit this Japanese Garden in the Netherlands! 🎋🇯🇵⛩️

The Japanese Garden in the middle of Clingendael Park (The Hague, NL) is only open a few weeks a year. This is because the plants and trees in the garden are very old and fragile sometimes. 🍁

But now is your chance to visit! From Saturday the 14th until Sunday the 29th of October the garden is open again for visitors. And the best part: A visit is free of charge.

The Japanese Garden isn't so big and can be very crowded in the weekends. So that's something to keep in mind if you want to visit.

If you feel like relaxing a few hours, this is the perfect place in Bali! Our taxidriver drove us here after watching the sunrise at Mt. Batur (I would highly recommend to combine this and book a package deal).

At Batur Natural Hot Spring, you can swim/rest in warm pools filled with natural water and enjoy the view. This spring is known as the only "healing spa" in Bali.

Tickets to visit the spring are a bit on the expensive side compared to other activities in Bali. But towels, a locker and soap/shampoo are included. Our ticket also had welcome drinks included. And you can spend a lot of time here, so we didn't mind the price (please look at the website of the hot spring for the actual prices).

It was so relaxing that we fell asleep in the water and we got sunburned so bad. 😂 The water makes the sunlight extra strong, so don't forget to bring sunscreen to protect yourself!

Wanna do a coffee, tea and hot cacoa tasting at Bali? Kebune Bali Agrotourism is such a lovely place for a tasting.

Our taxi driver brought us here when we had some spare time. A staff member gave us a tour through the beautiful garden. 🌿 He showed us some special trees and plants that they use to make the hot drinks. We also got to see little bees that can produce sweet and sour honey (don't worry, they don't sting) and the luwak. 🐈‍⬛

After that, he explained the process of making Bali coffee and kopi luwak. Kopi luwak is coffee made of the feces of the luwak. In other words this coffee is made from the poop of an Asian civet cat. And of course, adventurous as we are, we had to try it. 😂 It doesn't taste that bad, but I prefer my normal coffee.

Next to the kopi luwak, we had a coffee, tea and hot cacoa tasting next to a beautiful rice terrace. Almost everything tasted really good and it was such a fun experience.

After the tasting, you can visit the shop and buy some coffee or tea if you like. But it's kinda expensive. We bought some tea to support the locals, but do what makes you happy! The experience on itself wasn't that expensive.

This is… Monkey Forest Ubud 🐒

When in Ubud you can’t miss this place! There are a lot of monkeys walking around the forest. You can see them playing, eating and more. It’s such a nice experience.

Next to that the forest itself is really beautiful. The combination of the old big trees, the vines hanging down and the tradional statues everywhere make this such a magical place.

I would say it takes like 1,5 to 2 hours to explore the forest. A weekday ticket for an adult costs IDR 80.000 (€4,89) and a weekend tickets costs IDR 100.000 (€6,11). The adress is Jl. Monkey Forest in Ubud.

When visiting the forest there are some rules to protect yourself and the monkeys. Please follow these rules. For example it’s not allowed to touch or feed the monkeys, because they can become agressive. And I know it can be tempting to take photos or videos, but you don’t want a monkey to steal your phone or camera. All rules are listed on boards next to the entrance of the forest.

During our vacation on Bali, Thomas and I stayed at different accommodations. From smaller hotels to bigger resorts. Today I am showing you around at @clanliving.id - The Founder in Ubud.

The rooms at Clan Living are originally set up for remote workers 💻 and it’s possible to stay here for a longer time. We stayed three nights and that was also fine. We found this residence on Airbnb. Please note the room isn’t that suitable for very tall people.

I really love the bamboo architecture, the hammock nets and the pool. These aspects make this place very comfortable to stay AND Instagram worthy.

The accommodation is located in the center of Ubud. You’re surrounded by nice restaurants and it’s a 10 to 15-minute-walk to the Monkey Forest. 🐒 You won’t be bored here, I promise!

I must say that the hotel is a bit smaller than it looked like on Airbnb. And it’s kind of hidden behind a small square where some super friendly locals live. That’s not a problem at all, but I think it’s good to know what to expect.

In summary, it is really a nice place to stay though! It’s very clean and the staff is friendly.

Nusa Penida is an island near Bali. This island is still a bit more untouched and that's what makes it so breathtaking!

When you're at Bali you can easily take a fast boat from Sanur to Nusa Penida. It will take between 30 to 60 minutes before you arrive. Note that visiting this island might be a bit more expensive than most activities on Bali. And make sure you book your tickets in advance, otherwise there's a chance that the boats are full.

There are a lot of beautiful beaches to explore on Nusa Penida. Some popular beaches are:
🐚 Diamond Beach
🐚 Broken Beach
🐚 Kelingking Beach
🐚 Atuh Beach
🐚 Suwehan Beach

I would recommend to book a tour with a tourguide that drives you to the different beaches. The roads are really rocky sometimes, so driving a scooter can be dangerous. But it's up to you ofcourse.

When visiting Nusa Penida bringing a hat, a long sleeve top and a bottle of water is also a good idea. The sun is very strong, so take good care of yourself. ☀️

Alright, this place might not be for everyone. But eating here sure is an experience if you love a good steak! 🥩

This 'meat boutique', as they call themselves, might be a bit more expensive then some other restaurants in Bali. But they serve very good quality meat. So to us it was more than worth the money.

@thomas__v.d really wanted to try 30 days dry-aged Prime Porterhouse beef. So that's what we ordered (900g). It was cooked so well. And is was served with four different sauces/chimichurri to choose from. We also had four sides: mac & cheese, mashed potatoes, asparagus and potato wedges. The asparagus were my fave! 🤤

For dessert we had coffee crème brûlée with espresso foam and strawberries.

You can find @boyncow at Jl. Raya Kerobokan No.138 in Seminyak, Bali. This place is so popular that I would recommend to make a reservation on their website or send them a Whatsapp message. Their number is in their bio.
